Flying snakes
The Paradise Tree Snake (chrysopelea paradisi) can slide over extended distances. It does so to to jump from tree to tree in your native habitat. Jake Socha from Virginia Tech dropped lines of a 15 meter tower to this ability under controlled conditions to test.
